Lalibela Home Stay

Best homestay ever! The location is good (next to the bus station, walking distance from the city center), everything is very clean, they have hot water and good shower. The breakfast is super tasty, the CAT is friendly, but the main thing is the people. You are received by a wonderful family which will make everything to make you feel at home. Highly recommended!

The owner and his wife were very friendly and helpful. My room was clean and comfortable, and the bathroom was clean and with hot water. I could not ask for more. An amazing restaurant was nearby (the owner would tell you the name). I felt the Home Stay was centrally located in the town of Lalibela and I easily visited the many archeological churches. Every morning I had a delicious breakfast, included in the price, and a "ritual coffee." I could not have been happier. I am a world traveler, and in 2002 I visited Ethiopia for a month.

Unequaled value for money! The cheapest place we have stayed in Ethiopia and the welcome was great, the room was clean and nice, the hosts kept our things for us when we went on the trek, were of great advice (guide, change , transport ..). The quality of the shower is random as everywhere but it is not their fault. We really recommend this place! Thank you again for making our stay in Lalibela such a pleasant one.
