Ankober Palace Lodge

The most quite place I ever imagine. You need to go uphill at list  100 meters to be on the hotel. It is amusing to see sunrise and sunsets . Beautiful Ankober landscape is witnessed from here.

Quite Historically Marvelous! Great for weekend getaway including hiking. Booking is recommended as they have limited rooms.

Located in a stunning position. Good rustic rooms with hot showers. Lovely restaurant with local food. Helpful and friendly staff.

A great place, with interesting history, excellent views and lush valleys around. You can also go back to Addis via AFAR region (Awash), though good road is still under construction.

The only place to stay in Ankober. When we were here, all the potatoes in the kitchen were finished for the chips in the dinner. This hotel can be the hotel located at the highest point in the world (2870 m above the sea level)
