Great view with a decent customer service

Such a beautiful place to stay at, my love and I had a great time there. So relaxing an amazing to see the lake view. Thank you for the awesome hospitality and delicious food. Tesfay is awesome. 🥰

Don't be misled by the positive reviews. My partner and I weren't able to spend the night here due to our room being infested with mice and insects. We drove back to Addis Ababa at 1am after trying several methods to get the mice away (turning on all the lights, spraying perfume in the room, etc.). In addition, we found out that only two of the rooms on the property have in-door toilets. We were told that we have the "best room on the property" even though our room was facing the only small outdoor patio filled with other guests. The bathroom wall has cracks and openings feeling you left exposed. The entire room was extremely run-down but we thought we could make it work for one night, but unfortunately mice running around was the last straw for us. All of the other resorts in the area were booked and we were willing to try a new place to be left extremely disappointed. Positive part of this experience was the good homemade food and friendly staff. However, the manager on-site didn't even bother to wake up when her staff told her we were suddenly checking out. She just instructed her staff to collect payment before we drove off. The price we paid ($50) is way too expensive given the lack of amenities, cleanliness, and up-keeping.
