We have traveled this month for 10 days with our two children and grandparents, 6 of us to historical route in Northern Ethiopia with Awaze tours. Amazing experience, very professional team. In all cities we were taken care by driver and a guide. Great explanations, well organized, friendly people. Northern Ethiopia is rich in its history, great sights. I very much recommend Awaze Tours.

Very beautiful

Habte arrange a 3 1/2 week tour for my friend and myself. During the planning stages, he always answered my e mails promptly, and helped me in planning the logistics of our private tour. Our guide in Northern Ethiopia, Alam, was wonderful. He was very open to any little tweaks or extra things we wanted to do. He was also an excellent driver, and in Ethiopia that is REALLY necessary as the roads are generally pretty bad. He made sure we saw everything on the itinerary, as well as some extras. Our guide, Abay, and driver, Bhronu, in Southern Ethiopia were also terrific. We covered a LOT of territory. The highlight was a bull jumping ceremony which Abay arranged for us. He knew everyone in all the cities and the tribal villages. The experience was like wandering through the pages of National Geographic. Ethiopia is a fascinating country, and all the arrangements for our trip were great, from the planning stages to getting on the plane to return home. I would definitely recommend Awaze.
