Asimba Guest House

Chris and his wife Saba are excellent hosts. I recommend the Asimba Guest House any time you are in Mekele.

Instantly felt like home, the hosts are SO friendly and welcoming and the decoration an environment are definitely a notch above anywhere else in Ethiopia. We’ve been pretty unimpressed by every hotel and lodge, so it’s nice to finally feel impressed. STAY HERE!!

I was extremely happy with Asimba Guest House. One of the best places I've stayed -- the bedrooms were extremely comfortable and the house is outstanding. The hospitality from Chris and Saba was way beyond what was expected and greatly appreciated. A lovely oasis! Definitely recommended!!

Very good, very friendly We stood there just one night but it was great. Chris, the British host was very kind and we had great conversation. The breakfast was nice and tasty. The location is beautiful and clean.
