Enda Eyesus Mekelle

This is one of the oldest Ethiopian Orthodox Churches serving as a prayer place for believers of the Mekelle University community. The church is currently under construction, and holds a strategic place. It has connections with the Italian war of the late 19th century and an Italian Cemetery with 500 bodies is a walk away to the east side of the church.
