DHL Head Office - Ethiopia

They have many branch and printed logo in the head of the road so every one can see and can use the dhl service easily.

I had a package to ship with cash on hand and than I was told I couldn't ship my package. But I called before hand so I wouldn't waste my time.. They said come right on in.. This is the Bole Michael site.. Don't waste your time as I did..

It was very very very bad. The worst courier ever. It took may paper to be taken for almost one month without explanation or execuse. Manager and other staffs responsible for this job should be fired.

I sent a smartphone to my friend in Addis-Abeba from Belgium. The phone arrived well almost one week later. Now problems starts, DHL advised my friend and ask her the payment 2900 Birr for tax, which is almost half of the phone price. Anyway, she went to bank and pay and then she bring the receipt at DHL. Even with the receipt, they told her to come back 4 days later. 4 days later, they told her they will call her within 2 days. The process is just heavy and very costy! Even if you paid everything, don't necessary expect to get your stuff immediately. You want to send something in Ethiopia ? First please avoid DHL Ethiopia and I strongly encourage you to give it to someone you can trust at the airport or travel with it by yourself !
