Parrot Guest House

This was easily the best guest house we stayed at in Ethiopia. There is a bright shaded courtyard where guest can hang out in armchairs. The family is super nice and helpful. The rooms are clean and have hot water. The guest house also serves decent food. Overall a great experience

We had such a great time at Parrot Guest House! Very clean rooms with the best bed we slept in our time in Ethiopia. And a very welcoming place with a really nice and cozy courtyard to hang out. The service and staff was amazing! Only real downside was the water pressure that was way too low for what you’d expect in this price bracket. But we would highly recommend this place anyway :)

Nice looking lodge, but no hot water for the shower. We changed rooms thinking we would get hot water with no success:( after camping and the salt baths! The shower was key to our happiness! Not a lovely experience.

We loved the atmosphere of the place. The family that owned the place were super friendly. After going to Dallol we came back again to the place and recommended it to friends who also loved it. The rooms were OK (the hot water could be better). The terrace was very nice and the breakfast and dinner were amazing. The owners even cooked for us an ethiopian dish that we wanted to try
