Afeworki Guest House

I stayed here while attending the diaspora festival. They clean it everyday and change the bed sheets pillow cases daily, the floor too is sparkling clean. I slept comfortably because of how clean and fresh it was.

Everything about Afeworki Guest House was great. It is centrally located, making it easy to get around. The owner is extremely friendly and helpful. They offer Ethiopian coffee as well. The rooms are very clean. We would absolutely stay here again!

We stayed on the top floor and it was bet nice. The owner of the guest house lived in Colorado for 20yrs and moved back to Ethiopia to build and start the Guest house. She is very nice and has very good English. We rented the large master suite, with the attached large family room. Very nice and affordable accommodations for the area. I would stay their again on my next visit. Only draw back is that they don't provide breakfast.

Clean accommodation and hospitable people. This is the best place to stay in Mekele City. The hosts are simply amazing; they invite each and every guest a wonderful coffee with company. Very recommendable.
