Book World

It's a small bookstore with a decent selection of recent top-sellers. We found the Bradt guide for Ethiopia here, which is definitely hard to find anywhere outside of Addis.

Good location, quite diverse collection.

Simple, but organized. Not a big bookstore, but with good products. Good for Ethiopian touristic, cooking, English novels and technical books.

Good bookshop for a visitor to Addis Ababa, with lots of good books on Ethiopia. They also sell Le Petit Prince in Amharic!

When you get to read or hear the name "book world" you might expect a place that you can find anything as far as a published book is concerned. But in this case, never imagine it; a 20 to 25 square meter shop with a handful of obsolete but expensive books. So why named book world.
