Loved it...but at the moment closed

Well, it was OK, the bathroom could have been maintained better. At least replace broken equipments. The cleaness left a little to wish for, especially when it came to the bed. The mosquito net was, well, nasty

Bad experience with it ... it already started upon entering, we (my girlfriend and I) had booked online for 3 nights via an external site. However, the reservation was not made through them because they did not do anything digitally, but that was no problem there was a 2 person cabin available. Upon entering we already saw a few holes in the mosquito nets (which is strange if you are in a malaria area), the walls were filthy with beaten mosquitoes, the double bed was actually two single beds pushed together, the sockets were loose in the wall and were not finished, there were stains in every part of the mosquito net and when we wanted to go to the shower in the evening it turned out cold water was coming out. That same day during lunch we were disturbed by the reception that we had to pay in cash (while we had already paid online via a credit card) and then we grabbed the mail with the reservation. After the receptionist had seen the e-mail, we were instructed to go into the city to print this e-mail in a local internet cafe and then return it to the receptionist, because they were not connected to the internet in any way (which is strange) since we had internet everywhere from the hotel). Of course we did not like to arrange that in our vacation, this was their problem rather than ours. We had also suggested contacting the site to get a story there, but the receptionist insisted that we go into town. We suggested forwarding the mail to the receptionist so that he could go into town himself to print the mail, paying for the expenses. Suddenly the receptionist had a mail address while he denied this, so the idea was that he would take this on. We thought "it's fine that it's arranged". The next day during breakfast we were disturbed again by the receptionist, we now had to come along to arrange everything. We got up and went with the receptionist, then we saw that the site had failed to contact the hotel. Because of this the reservation was canceled and we would get our money back, luckily because we were not going to stay in the hotel any longer. Because of this we tried to explain that we would just pay cash, this was apparently too difficult for the receptionist to understand so we made it clear after several attempts. Finally we received the bill 1200 birr, I would go get the money and hand in the key. Because we were still looking for a new hotel we sat down on the terrace, while we were looking, the receptionist came to disturb us again. Apparently we had paid too little, we received a bill of 2361 birr (2361 minus the 1200 that we had already paid we still had to pay 1161 birr) a sloppy mistake on his part. However, we were so ready with it that we proposed to pay another 1000 birr but nothing more, the receptionist agreed. Well, search for a new hotel! But less than a minute later the receptionist came by again, saying that we had to deposit an additional 161 birr. Because this would otherwise be deducted from his salary, while before that he agreed that it was good that way. We said "After so many mistakes and so many times that you have disturbed us, you still want us to pay the full amount?" whereupon he said "Yes for you that is not money and for me it is" I could hardly believe that he said this, then he asked if we believed in god and if we did we would just have to pay. We were done with it, we paid and went to LEWI resort where we were well received and where we could enjoy our vacation.
