ETO is a government organization that promotes tourism in Ethiopia and to the outside world. The current working motto of Tourism Ethiopia is THE LAND OF ORIGINS! Prior to the current motto "13 months of sunshine" was used. Because Ethiopia is the source of the longest river in the world, the origin of mankind, the origin of coffee we drink, and is one of the ancient civilization with its own Alphabet ሀ ለ ሐ መ ሰ ረ ሠ ሸ ቀ ... Ethiopia is known as the Land of Origins.
