Daily Mini Mart - Bisrate Gabriel Shop

Good little corner grocery store and a nice addition to Old Airport. Much more convenient than Shoa, and the staff is much nicer. Good selection of fruits and veggies. Also, wide pasta selection.

I don't wanna write a bad review but I have to. At the opening of this store, it was very nice so I 've been to this store weekly but I will not from now. I still think the items are good but this store adopts a terrible shopping helper system (carrying a basket, providing info) which should be nulled. A shopping helper without a proper training doesn't help at all. Here are my episodes in this store. 1. A shopping helper forces a purchase. When I shop , they are very close to me and endlessly talk sth(don't forget that it is still in the pandemic). But the thing is that, they put items into my basket without my agreement while saying 'please madam'. And the items they put are all rotten and very bad. I came here for shopping, not for donation. Also, when I purchased 8 eggs other day (a shoppping helper put my eggs into my basket), I only found 7 at home. At the end of the shopping, they also asked me to give my masks saying it looked good. 2. A casher also needs training. After the payment, my items are still on the scale, not in my bag after packing. If I hadn't discovered it, my items might have been left in the store after I left. Of course, there's no apology at all. And when I entered the store, they sometimes said 'nihao (chinese greeting)'. And when I said 'i am not chinese', they answered 'no prob(in amharic)'. As you can see, I have lots of episodes becuz I have been here very often. However, after a forceful purchase, I decided not to visit here anymore, so I leave this review. At first, there was a nice shopping helper but I can't find her now. If an owner reads this review, please train your employee. Otherwise you may lose more customers like me.
