Our kids have been going to Suiss Clinic since infancy and i have nothing but admiration for the service, staff professionalism, ethics, cleanliness, availability for advise after hours etc. All doctors in all shifts are amazing. Nurses are great too. Highly recommend it.

I had need of a RT-PCR covid-19 travel test that needed to be administered with 24 hours of the swab being taken to comply with entry requirements for my destination. The Suisse Clinic in Addis Ababa, met that requirement and at an affordable price, when compared to Europe. The booking was simple, complete through an exchange of emails and very friendly. On the day of my appointment I rolled up promptly, went to reception, paid my dues and went to a tented area to be processed. It was necessary to bring a paper copy of the photo page of one's passport and a copy of the ticket receipt, which I hand over to the lady at the testing tent. I also completed a form giving my details again, full name as in passport, nationality, passport number, local phone contact etc. All completed, I went for the swab of the throat and nasal passage. It was a tad more aggressive than ones I had experienced in the UK, but not to bad. Start to finish was 7 minutes. Worthy of four or five stars no less. But wait you gave 2 stars. Well....... The next morning I got a call.from.the clinic to say I got a negative test and I could collect my certificate that afternoon. So I trundle up at 1500 or so and ask for my certificate. After a little scurrying around they found it and I checked it over. They had not of it my surname.on the form, after informing me that they needed all my name's, as per my passport. Not only that they got my nationality wrong as well. Considering they had a great copy of my passport with those details on I was a little irritated. They explained that the lab completes the certificate, so they call them.to explain, but the lab said they could do nothing and that most of the name was correct and should be okay. I explained that it may be okay for ethiopia, bit some countries checked everything to ensure that things are above board. Anyway they said to try it or I could retake the test and they would correct it then. Well that I could not do, So I kept my fingers crossed. It turns out that embarkation and my destination did a cursory glance looking for the date of the test and result. So it turned out okay. When I left london's a couple of weeks ago, they checked everything matched up. The two stars is because an automated system where I enter my details then they pass it on, or verify would, most likely, have ensured that these details were correct. Photocopies of passports obviously do not help, and a handwritten form is asking for trouble if the space to write names isn't available. Anyway, I know that the Suisse clinic is a great medical centre for most things, they just felt.short on this.
