Hotel Celeste

I had been there to enjoy the rooftop but we were not allowed since the room on that floor was reserved. Except that the hotel is located at a quite living area and near to the Bole main road. The garden on the ground floor and the lobby has a welcoming environment to sit and work and also to enjoy for a group of friends.

The location is perhaps the biggest weakness of this hotel. It is simply dingy but safe. This is however made up for by the tranquil environment once inside the compound. Having seen the spatial planning in Addis, this location is not an exception. The staff was polite but the food very poorly prepared. Rooms nice if you do not care about detail such as dirty curtains which the management can easily wash. If you want a place to put up with minimal cost, yes this is the place. If you are a seasoned busy traveller, give it a miss because you will agonise about cleanliness of towels, only one roll of toilet paper - no spare etc? Good luck to the young man who runs it. He has his own clientelle

Great view while having breakfast on the roof. Nice rooms, friendly staff. Clean.

Unbeatable for the price. Fast Internet, good breakfast, nice lounge and bar area. Outside garden is beautiful.
