For those who wish to experience a wide variety of authentic Indian cuisine this is the place to go to. Close to an area known as Olympia and Dembel Mall this unique restaurant also has a separate bar section within the premises and also side rooms for private dining and parties. My trips there over the years have been with my friends, associates and dignitaries and many a time I have also requested for take always. I cannot state just one dish or two as I found everything I have dined on has met my expectations because I always specify the spicing from mild to extremely hot and spicy. This is the other X- factor about this restaurant. Mr. Mohanbhai personally tends to the order ensuring and recommending the best accompaniments to your liking and once he does he remembers and doesn't need to be reminded. A number of times my Ethiopian friends wanted to have both some Indian and some Ethiopian food and that was tastefully provided. The service is attentive and prices reasonable considering the elevated costs during this pandemic of almost everything. My recommendation for personal, family, corporate or parties. Jewel of India is a real Gem! Hope you experience what I have in these last few years...Namaste!🙏
The first time I came to this restaurant was to eat Masala dosa as I miss the days I spent in Mumbai....since then it is my place when ever I crave Indian food. I also use it for catering and the food is amazing...I will continue coming...please keep it aways the same...thank you...!!
Only food place in Addis with the real Indian taste.
Very bad food !! South Indian dosa and uthapam very spicy. Mysore masala dosa is full of beetroot and beans. Chef also said "we make it like this because we don't get spices here" . I had very bad experience. Better place for south Indian is "Namastey India"
I was use to go indian spice but yesterday 1st time i visited Jewel of Indian restaurant, really food is very testy along with fast and good service.
