Venetian Hotel

Hotel room is clean and service good. I asked for kettle in room etc and was helped immediately. Fast wifi. Variety of TV channels. Shuttle fetched me from airport. Location not exactly what I would have preferred but I am here to quarantine so I keep to myself in my room. Affordable rates and breakfast included.

My family and I stayed here during a difficult time just after the lockdown. I chose this hotel because of It's proximity to the airport, restaurants and other aminities. I think it has been refurbished as the rooms seemed cleaner and in better condition than I remember earlier in the year. Venetian has character and it's better value for money compare to the many big hotels in the area. I wish their 6th floor was a gym instead of a club/lounge as it disturbs rest/slee. They have a reasonably good food and breakfast, the staff were always friendly and helpful, in particular a young waiter by the name of Aselef Ayele, who was always smiling and energetic. She was sharp, got our orders right and brought them on time. This i find to be rarity in Addis hotels.

An affordable hotel close to the airport. The hotel is very well maintained and is impeccably clean. It isn't too large and has just enough amenities to serve as home for a few days. The staff were friendly and incredibly helpful when I needed a specific kind of charger. The down sides are that beds in the twin rooms were tiny and the breakfast was sparse - eggs, fruit and a few pastries.

Overall it is a great place, perfect location & away from any chaos, but close enough to whatever you might need. All the managers, waiters, security guards & few of the front desk staff are great and polite, but entire front desk stuff lucks communication with each other & two of them shouldn’t even be there.

Well priced accommodation in Addis, courteous staff but the quarters have seen better days. This place can best be described as adequate, nothing fancy but will suffice for a business trip.
