Nice church in the heart of the town.

A nice stalls inside. Facade marked by the tower with a nest of storks, the sculpture above the door and other sculptures of Christ on the crucifix.

The parish church dedicated to Saint-Pierre and Saint-Paul is very old and was built in Romanesque style but later, in 1220, it was restored in Gothic style. It is located within the walls of the historic center in the midst of beautiful characteristic houses and roofs with storks' nests. Of the original building remains the bell tower, which boasts four bells, one of which comes from the Abbey of Marbach. Beautiful to see the old portico and the portal, which houses a wooden sculpture called "la Vergine che s'apre", dating back to the 14th century. To visit.

Eguisheim's church is in a quiet place. The inside is not gorgeous but beautiful. And above all, storks on the roof. I heard the Stork's cry for the first time. The city is very beautiful. I definitely want to come in the Christmas season.
