Super experience! It's worth the detour :) Super volunteers explain the history of the quarries then we visit the places.

Doing the tour without a guide loses a lot of interest. The tour guide is very interesting explaining a little geology and botany on the site without forgetting the methods of extraction for this marble used in the most prestigious places like the Palace of Versailles or Opera Garnier in Paris. Beautiful discovery!
