Librairie Ami des Livres

I visited this cute library while visiting Toulouse. It hits all the spots that I like on a bookstore. A charismatic owner, the smell of books, new and used and stashes of varied books all over the store. While there was a small selecton of english titles it was the only store in Toulouse where I was able to find this and I end buying a book that seems very interesting and that I wouldn't normally have bought. The owner was friednly and trying to accomodate to my lack of french.

A very nice shop, ideally placed and properly furnished, where you can not really advise anyone to go since the staff is misogynistic and insulting. To be reserved for the customers who absolutely insist on what one explains to them the life and take their requests from high.

Nice, helpful bookseller who knows his job well

I strongly advise against, except if you want to receive misogynistic remarks and insults when you decide not to consume at home. To flee.

The bookstore is sexist and insults her customers when she decides not to buy, to flee urgently.
