This allergist is a real shame. I have consulted twice in my life, once being small and once again last year. The first time I quote: "It is impossible to desensitize you have too much" or "wait to be old maybe it will calm down" and the second time, in addition to his cold attitude and uninterested, it does not has absolutely nothing more to recommend than the usual (though inefficient) treatment that any basic medical practitioner advises. Surprisingly, after consulting another allergist on Lyon, I learn that it is quite possible to desensitize me and that it requires 3 to 4 years. That I should have started this earlier. Indeed it would have been very practical, maybe I would have avoided years of suffering, years of respiratory problems, years of forbidden food and countless times when allergies destroyed me so much that it was me impossible to go outside, play sports or study serenely. I highly recommend turning to an allergist in Lyon, especially if it's your child, do not count on this soon-to-retire allergist who does not care about your health.
