Was here with my australian friend and we could easily spend 1,5h here:-) very friendly, helpful staff, nice expositions about river Seine. Maybe a part of the nature side of the Seine and of the foundation of Mantes could be added. I recommand this place.

Small museum in the center of Mantes-la-Jolie. It can be visited in about an hour. On the ground floor a medieval exhibition with elements from the area. First floor dedicated to Maximilien Luce. The second floor hosts temporary exhibitions, in my case Nicolas Tarkhoff. The ticket price is around 5 euros. The whole visit is replicated through panels exclusively in French. I must say very pleasant place

Very nice place with a nice view of the collegiate church in height. the exhibition rooms are beautiful and the works well highlighted. Nice discovery of artists little known for me. A welcome explaining what the museum offers would have been welcome even if the person was very pleasant.
