BUSCA GIAM (12/31/2020)
A small square in the city center, which looks like a small quiet corner, with these traders all around. This year the central monument in homage to Alfred Nobel was decorated by municipal officials for the holidays and it is very successful. Usually in a radius of 10m are arranged the 5 small columns bearing the name of NOBEL. The letter N faces north in homage to its Nordic origin Sweden. The 5 curved lines connect the letters towards the center and symbolize the 5 continents. The monument is accessed by 8 circular steps whose facing respects the harmonious rules of the golden ratio. At the base of the sculpture, 8 books seem to fly away and transform into a dove's wing which rise towards the sky while protecting the terrestrial globe. The elevation of the spirit perpetuating the resurrection of mankind. Work of Christian Kazan inaugurated on 12/14/1996 in testimony of the 100th anniversary of the death of Alfred Nobel.

Really a favorite to find a memorial monument for Alfred Nobel (1833-1896), the famous Swedish chemist and entrepreneur who spent almost ten years of his professional life in France from 1881 to 1890 in the town of Sevran, at the east of Paris. A symbolic monument: The elevation. This work by sculptor Christian Kazan bears witness to the 100th anniversary of the death of Alfred NOBEL. In a radius of 10 meters are arranged the five columns bearing the name NOBEL. The letter N faces north in homage to its Nordic origin, SWEDEN. The five curved lines connect these letters towards the center and symbolize the five NOBEL prizes and the five continents. The monument is accessed by eight circular steps, the spacing of which respects the harmonious rules linked to the golden ratio. At the base of the sculpture, eight books seem to fly away and transform into the wing of a dove which rise up to the sky, protecting the terrestrial globe. The elevation of the spirit perpetuating the resurrection of humanity. Inaugurated on December 14, 1996 By Eric RAOULT Minister responsible for the city and integration Orjan BERNER Ambassador of Sweden in Paris and Jacques OUDOT Mayor of Sevran
