Hôtel Restaurant Campanile Tours Joué lès Tours

Room are fine for the price but its better to book online in advance otherwise its expensive. Room were not super clean. They could clean more the washroom. The restaurant was closed. The area is good with a lake just nearby.

Very easy to get to from the motorway. About 5 to 10 minutes in. The rooms are very basic but do the job. They had tea/coffee making facilities which to me was a bonus. We had a friendly welcome from the receptionist and the hotel had taken onboard my request for a ground floor room. The bed was very comfortable and we got a good night’s sleep and the place is dog friendly. Now the restaurant, wow! The food was to die for. As much as you wanted to eat. The starters was a buffet and the the choice was amazing. The mains were equally as varied with a choice of, as I remember, about seven or eight dishes. I was spoilt for choice. Hard working team. The helpful receptionist was out there again helping in the restaurant. After dinner we were allowed to bring our dog in to a seating area near the reception to have coffee and brandi. All this for an excellent price. Thank you guys.

The hotel was very clean and adequate for an overnight stay. The reception was very welcoming. My only problem was that I asked for an accessible room as I use a wheelchair and although I was given a ground floor room, it was not an adapted room. I therefore had no room for my wheelchair or a seat in the shower so it was very difficult for me. There was also no frame around the toilet so this too was an issue. In the past, whenever I have asked for an accessible room with Campanile, they have always given me one so I don't know why this time was the exception as they do have accessible rooms at this site.

Fantastic food from this Restaurant in a location that you would not expect.
