A scandalous travel agency !! This is how my trip goes to see Santa Claus; 1. When we left we were not even sitting next to each other on the plane - traveling with a child of 6 years = SCANDALEUX I do not even mention the delay of 2 hours ... 2. Full board: if we do not take all the activities because I had not taken the snowmobile at noon we do not get anything to eat: or is the full board he mentions when booking ???? 3. Huskies farm tour: we were left on the spot go on the bus or eat 1 sausage in 1 tipi I did not have any visit of a farm! 4. NEVER a meal for children not even 1 SCANDALEUX dessert. In the morning the lady who accompanies us announces champagne and rosé wine included on Christmas Eve and after during the meal nothing shameful. we ate exactly the same as the other days despite being sold with a traditional Christmas meal! 5. Before leaving I called them to find out if Santa Claus would come to the hotel on Christmas Eve and they said yes and he will give a gift offered by us to all the children NOTHING RECEIVED. Chance that I had taken a gift with otherwise my daughter would have received nothing. And do not even talk about Santa Claus it was even better that my dad plays Santa Claus! 6. We visited Santa's house on the 26th so all the kids were confused which makes sense right ?! The half-day tour is sold but it's exactly 2 hours! 7. We leave mainly for children and there is no activity for children! Even no food for them kind spaghetti or sweet kellogs in the morning! 8. I did not take the snowmobiling activity but we did not even know how to introduce 1 other for the children..the lady on the spot do not know anything we ask her questions that still remains unanswered ! 9. Sauna at the hotel open from 16h to 16h50 and from 18h to 18h50 ... 10. Aurora borealis: since we arrived we asked when there will be etc but no one knows .... we were promised a walk in the evening to see them but there was never a walk 11. The activities last maximum 2h30 with the trip etc and after we are free let loose in the nature because in the village of ruka there is nothing apart from the restaurants and 1 supermarket ... We have to pay 3 € / people to take the bus even though you wrote in our first mail exchanges: on the slopes! We are 2km from the slopes ... 12. We are supposedly housed in a 5 * hotel but the rooms are cleaned every 3 days, we do not change sheets or towels ... it's not worthy of a 5 * I think ... ?! My shower ran from the first day as soon as we washed the bathroom was flooded I told it directly to the reception and to the lady of scandinavia but nobody changed anything so we had put our towels on the floor to avoid getting wet feet when you go to the toilet but we do not get any more ... I find that for the price we paid it is outrageous and shameful. I wrote them an email with these details + photo support etc they did not even bother to answer me! I hope you can understand that I am scandalized ?!

What a disappointment in every way! Hotel Pohjanhovi to avoid absolutely old rooms and cleanliness limit, do not rely on pretty pictures of the site, swimming pool just 20 °, as for the pension, just ok. As for excursions, do not expect to discover beautiful spaces outside the city of Rovaniemi, from the hotel you will be in less than 10 minutes. And everything happens in the same place, ride in reindeer, ride in huskies and ride snowmobiles, forget the sensations, we are one behind the others! And finally the tassel, the meeting of Father Christmas, 36 seconds top chrono. I put two stars, one for the meeting with the reindeer and another for the fabulous salmon soup served at the reindeer farm. The price of this trip is absolutely not justified, business business.
