Eglise Saint Gervais Saint Protais

A church rebuilt in the 19th, having kept its "historic" steeple, very pleasant and rich of some exhibited works. A church of the 12th century, it received its bell tower in the 14th and was entirely taken again in the 19th. During this campaign, the choir was moved to the other end of the building to the west. Disoriented, the entrance is today from the east, we go under the platform that makes narthex. The nave is large and welcoming, beautifully lit by beautiful stained glass windows, the bell tower is classified to M.H. I really liked the statuary presented, pieces from the 13th, 16th and 18th centuries as well as contemporary works. A painting of the 17th is also to discover. Nice visit
