Église Saint-Maixent.

A Gothic church is not very common in Poitou. Imposing and well developed in its own place, it is a Gothic building rebuilt in the 14th on the foundation of a Romanesque church, which remains the span of the bell tower and elements reused somewhat disparate way. The nave has three vessels, without transept, the flat bedside is pierced by three large windows. In this church listed in 1911, a rare element is the carved part of a 14th century altar placed in the modern altar of 1970. This unusual element was very degraded, the heads amputated during the year 1568, victim of wars of religion.
