Really friendly and comfortable feel inside, a huge amount of history and interesting architecture. It was also very cool on a hot day, with no other visitors while we were there

Its construction begins in the 12th century on the foundations of the former abbey of Sainte Clotilde. Notre Dame is a history book of architecture. The sculptures, the paintings, the woodwork, offered in testimony of the faith, enrich the building over the centuries. The stained glass windows of the sixteenth century astonish by their wealth.
