Located behind the park of the Place du SANA, just next to the Pasteur school in Montigny-en-ostrevent, the church of Saint-Charles is distinguished by a very particular architecture. Indeed while many churches are built in the shape of a Christian cross, it looks more like a huge house with beautiful stained glass windows (which have been restored some time ago).
This church was almost sold a few years ago because it required expensive work but the mayor at the time fought to keep this building in place in the heritage of the city and, whatever the opinions and beliefs of each It can not be denied that this building has lived and that it embellishes with its presence the SANA square.
