It’s a great resort, good skiing lifts and choice of shops, food and accommodation. 5***** But I stayed in Valmeinier 1800. Sadly they have allowed a pub, ‘Avalanche’ to open until 2-3 am under a residential block, keeping everyone awake, playing music and with pub customers making noise outside and as they leave and arrive every night. Very greedy and poor choice by the town to allow this. Loyal customers are all talking to each other and will not come back. 1*

Loud music permanently in the station. There is no longer a moment of calm. Really a shame because the resort and the environment are very pleasant. It ruins everything.
