A chapel atop a rock spike. Worth the climb!

A must see, climbing stairs is easy, the view is amazing, the chapel is very special, very unique. Before the rise, a room has been fitted with a model and video that explains the entire history (construction, destruction, restoration) is very well done.

Climb to the top of the peak what an adventure! It is stiff and you should not be dizzy. In top small simple chapel beaten by the winds. A place conducive to daydreaming.

Magnificent Chapel perched on its rock, in the heart of a magnificent city with a very rich historical heritage. I would return to Puy en Velay in June 2020 !!! If you have the opportunity to pass in Haute Loire, stop in this little-known department which has a lot to show you !!!! (The Gorges de l'Allier, Le puy en Velay, Puy de Lumières ...)
