CAMPER PARK Aire Le Puy en Velay

Lots of people had trouble getting in. Machine rejected my Mastercard in euros, but accepted the Mastercard in pounds sterling! ! Trains noisy at night. Very convenient site though. Need to arrive reasonably early. Fills up well before dark.

Great site. All facilities and an easy walk into the town. Some people have found the entry system a challenge. So, first you need to buy a card from the machine, this you then validate ( this is all explained on the machine). You then add credit on to that card which is now yours for life. There is an excellent app detailing locations where you can use it. If this site is anything to go by then it's a must have.

Handy aire to get to the verious monuments. Can be a little noisy on the morning as there is a train station right opposite.

Getting in was strange, buy a card then charge it up Only 13 euros plus 4 euros for the card which can be used at other sites, No toilets or showers, but electric is included, reasonable spots but on tar mac, a car park for motor homes, almost level but not quite A 15 min walk to the town center and you could always go up the statue on the large rock opposite, well worth the 4 euros, great views from the top

Good location. Nice and level. Feels safe for urban aire
