Trouga is a lovely bed and breakfast in Brittany, France. We stayed in the Rose Violine room, a room for two with an attic roofline, decorated in violet and pink. It has a kitchenette, a washroom, a sitting area, a dining area; and many thoughtful touches, such as books and magazines, games, tea, and paper and pens. It is quiet and private and pretty. It is part of a farm with historic buildings, outstanding perennial gardens, and a working farm with cows and pigs, not to mention cats and a cute Jack Russel terrier. The star of the breakfast is the famous Brittany crepes. We slept well and comfortably, and during the day we very much enjoyed visiting Dinan, especially the castle, but also the cafes and shops, and walking the back streets of this historic town. We would heartily recommend a stay at this lovely place!

We went to the guest rooms in Trouga via the Dakotabox, and we were disappointed ... The room was not at all those indicated on the Dakotabox application and nothing told us that it was a farm. Although we didn't mind it would have been nice to be warned. A rather cold welcome despite being kind. On the plus side was the spa and the generous home cooked breakfast from the region which was excellent.

I spend a lot of time in these guest rooms linked to my work, the comfort is there and Marie Christine and Michel are very nice and the place and calm and it is very nice to take a little walk in the evening.

A large comfortable house on a farm complex with pigs and cows. So, free real milk. Near the village of Plelan le Petit, with all necessities of life. Near the motorway to St. Malo, Dinard and many other places of interest.
