I had the opportunity to visit this barracks, it is the 2nd barracks of Le Mans, it mainly serves the southern sector of the city and the agglomeration. There are 14 firefighters 24 hours a day out of around 40 assigned to this station, all professional firefighters. There are 6 vehicles, a VSAV, (Emergency and Victim Assistance Vehicle) a VL (Light Vehicle), an ATV (All Terrain Vehicle), an FPTSR (Roadside Rescue Truck), a CCFF (Tanker Truck) Forest fires), and a BEA (Aerial Lifting Arm). The Main Rescue Center located rue de Degré has many more staff on duty and of course many more vehicles, the CSP serves the northern area of ​​the city, the agglomeration and the department.
