Modern sculpture ... I am not a fan .... but followers will certainly appreciate ... the heat during my visit was not conducive to the contemplation, to the relationship, in this given moment ... viewing the photos allowed a more pleasant meeting ... a more "positive" feeling

Work by Polish sculptor Igor MITORAJ (1944 - 2014), installed in 1983 at the foot of the Areva Tower (formerly Fiat Tower then Framatome). Bronze sculpture representing a truncated man's bust, on a brown granite floor. A head is encrusted in a square cutout at the level of the heart of the bust. Drawing inspiration from ancient statuary, in particular its ideal proportions, the artist reminds the public of his human nature and his imperfection. His sculptures are deliberately injured or scratched.
