Police Headquarters - SGAP 78 Melun

Having had my handbag stolen whist on the train at Melun, the police were involved and managed to find my bag complete with all it's contents. They were helpful and although we did have to wait to complete the necessary paperwork they were efficient and professional, phoning up the on duty magistrate at 3am for us and running us back to our hotel afterwards. This police force should be recommended.

I called to have an appointment with the head of the juvenile brigade to file a complaint, and the man was not there at the appointment ... I was also told that it was not a good time to file a complaint between the holidays and covid 19. In short, I was treated with indifference when I wanted to file a complaint against a serious crime and I was not helped by the police! In conclusion, avoid this police station to file a complaint!

Very bad experience, I was promised a stay in a 4 star hotel in the end I find myself in a shared room with a surprise guest while being deprived of telephone and TV, one day of the World Cup match! ! .. I am very proud of our policemen from Melun, they are exemplary! I am yellow vest but I enjoyed the respectful dialogue with them, the event was great and without the feeling of being insecure.
