Locksmith scam! Locksmith called at night for a broken / forced apartment lock. Rather fast arrival, door open in a few minutes. So far so good.... Once the door is open (lock broken), not being able to leave it in this state (departure early the next day for work) the locksmith then takes the opportunity to replace the lock for a total amount of 2078 euros !! I was stuck and he knew it, taking the opportunity to offer a completely overpriced quote. At this exorbitant price, I would at least have appreciated the job well done. (See photo after repair) So beware of this breakdown scam
