I must admit I've never had the opportunity to see inside as it was closed when I visited here! However, its impressive baroque style architecture is what drew me to this gorgeous building. With its spectacular dome of highly decorative glazed tiled roof and baroque façades, it's unbelievably beautiful and I could only imagine the interior. This is also attached to the hospital of Saint Jacques with its classical façades style architecture. I'm glad I had the opportunity to see this beautiful chapel, be it just the outside façades. Absolutely worth A look and even better if you have the chance to explore inside. A well deserved listed historic monument of Besançon.

Small chapel, full of history, very pleasant because of small size ... A real place of comfort ...

Very beautiful tiny 18th century chapel. The round dome (and its beautiful roof) placed on an oval structure is said to be an architectural feat. The high altar, the paving (with an astronomical symbol) and the organ are beautiful.

Recognizable by its dome covered with glazed tiles, it owes its name to an establishment created in 1690 by the Marquis of Broissia to collect young girls "morally in danger". Built by the architect Nicolas Nicole in 1739, it was attached to the hospital in 1802. There are beautiful woodwork from the Louis XV period. The architecture of the elliptical building gradually takes, starting from the entablature, the shape of a circle, symbol of perfection and eternity. Cross the street and go to the Esplanade des Droits-de-l'Homme, a statue of Victor Hugo looking at his watch, and produced by Ousmane Sow (Senegalese artist).
