Château et jardins de Losse

Small chateau but beautifully renovated. Lovely guide and guided tour (although only in french) but you have an English pamphlet which makes it easy enough to follow along.

The chateau was unfortunately closed but the gardens were open. There is a beautiful short woodland walk alongside the river, some very well kept knot gardens and a bamboo 'maze'. The maze is not a complex thing to occupy more than a few minutes, but it's pleasant to wander through.

Great walk around a beautiful castle. The tour was only in French, however, they did go to the effort of providing information in other languages to read, including English. Kids loved looking for the treasure boxes and very well maintained castle and gardens with a spot of geocaches nearby.

Beautiful place to visit. Authentic architecture, and of of few castles in France that has been upkept properly. Chapeau!

A small castle in terms of interiors but complete and honest and not overdone. Plus a nice garden. In a great setting along the Vézère. Pictures inside were not allowed.
