Viveka - France Yoga Retreats

Nice place, beautiful setting and lovely nature feel (outdoor toilets and shower), lovely people, but arrangements below expectations. The family yoga retreat concept is great but the implementation was a let-down. The retreat was said to accommodate children in 3 languages, but that was only for the first couple of days when the son translated for the child-carer who spoke only English. After that, bilingual 5-year old participants were left to translate for the french speakers, while the german 3-year old just had to get by. The yoga was gentle but not at all individualised, for example no concern for people with back pain. There was a lot of relaxation with a hint of mindfulness but very limited guidance, this was offered only in answer to questions. We won't go back.

Superb place to do yoga, nature and tranquillity.. Delicious food.

Great family yoga camps, organic food...
