Hertz - Chambery Aéroport

Uncommonly good service at hertz chambery airport. Really helpful guy. Super quick.

The Hertz office at Chambery Airport is useless and simply takes your money and provides no service. When we arrived on 2nd February they didn’t have the minibus we had booked on-line. They made us make a new booking for a Ford Focus and refused to use our on-line reservation. This meant they charged us twice. Then the Ford Focus broke down in Morzine just 3 hours later with a broken gear box. I had to wait for the Hertz breakdown service to collect their broken car. Ten days later the breakdown garage phoned me and asked when I was collecting the car!! They have been so useless and have refused to refund my on-line payment and the extra payment I had to make direct to Hertz at Chambery. That’s £700 for a car that broke down after 3 hours and they refuse to refund me. Don’t use them. They are the worst car hire company I have ever used with no customer service available. They have ignored 8 emails from me. They are hopeless and dishonest.

I would not recommend this landlord, car reserved at 9am on the site the day before, the renter arrives at 10am, normal! we reserve a car (class Clio 4, 308 ...) we offer a Fiat 500 at the same price of course! No refund according to him!

Extremely disappointing. Very unpleasant staff and deplorable welcome. I advise you absolutely, flee this agency at all costs Visited in October
