Église Notre Dame de Liesse

The church was built between 1846 and 1851 on the site of a very damaged primitive sanctuary of which certain elements have been preserved: the 14th century bell tower and a Gothic window on the south wall. In front of the church, there is a large square, surrounded by cafés and shops, called "Notre-Dame". In 1859 the town council installed an obelisk fountain with lions and turtles.

This church is so beautiful, the ceiling is full of amazing paintings, the effect of the light coming from the glass windows is splendid.

Beautiful church. Really enjoyed the peaceful environment and religious sculptures on the front sides of the church.
