Beautiful relaxing ambience, excellent service and very nice hospitable owners. There are 5 stars more than deserved!

We had a real moment of tranquility and a wonderful stay in this guest house. The owners are wonderful and very welcoming (without being intrusive). The Guest House is a real 80 m2 apartment with a large equipped living room (Flat Screen + Wi-Fi), with a fully equipped American kitchen. The two bedrooms are comfortable and practical. there is room and space !!! The decoration is very tasteful. Provençal style (but without the cicadas everywhere ...). The Parc de la Bastide is beautiful (French garden with flowers everywhere) and allows you to relax and was perfect for the children) which we could keep an eye on at all times .... not to mention. The swimming pool which is a real treat. Lounge chair, table, chairs, all very modern but simple. Breakfast is generous (included in the rental price) and is served under a beautiful arbor overlooking the park with hundred-year-old trees. A real treat, before starting the day. What we liked above all is that this guest house is completely independent from the rest of the Bastide. We were "at home" for 5 days ... But the owners were always there if we had any questions for them ... Good places in Aix, good Restaurants, where to park, where to do your shopping ( food and souvenirs) without being mistaken for Americans, etc ... Stay of 5 days in August 2015, of 4 people: 2 adults and 2 children. We recommend !!!

Superb extended Easter weekend in this lovely guest house. An apartment on 2 floors, with independent entrance. The photos of the website correspond in every respect. We spent 3 nights in this charming place to attend the Easter Festival in Aix-en-Provence and we found our little corner of Paradise. The Bastide is beautiful as the Park maintained with great care. The owners are charming and very aware of all the events taking place in Aix-en-Provence. Very good advice. The guest house is located a few minutes from Cours Mirabeau (and the city ...) but also from the Wine Route, which crosses the countryside of the Pays d'Aix. We had a great time. The price (with breakfast included) is quite adequate, given the services offered. We recommend ! And we will come back to enjoy the beautiful pool ... Thank you again for your warm welcome.
