Église Saint-Saturnin (Le Tallud)

Discovered in December 2018 and reviewed for pleasure in July 2020. This building is almost a thousand years old and the attachment of the parishioners has enabled it to reach us in superb condition. Its authenticity is moving, one can easily imagine it in the year 1100, Agora and refuge, a public square empty of siege where citizens discuss and decide. I can only recommend his visit. A church built at the end of the 11th century registered with the M.H. in 1926. Property of the town hall, this building, little modified over the centuries, has adapted to new times and still hosts religious ceremonies. A Romanesque church typical of architecture in Gâtine, in perfect condition, full of charm and which houses some pretty things. Worth a visit for lovers of old stones.
