Villa Castoria

Everyone who considers to stay here should read this. The owner told me to "Go to hell". The hotel is very beautiful, the owner "was" very kind at first. The breakfast is fine and the room is clean and roomy. I firstly though this would be the best stay in France but the impression turned the opposite way after a trouble. Because of the heater problem, he may have asked me to use less water in French though I'm not a good French speaker. And also the request was not clear because the amount I can use is uncertain. I tried to fill the buthtub with a bit of water and tried not to use a lot of water and instead I had an intention to use the tub water to wash my body and hair. In the meantime, I made a call and it might have been after a few minutes, the owner climped up the stairs in front of my room and castigated in a very loud voice. He shouted shouted and shouted through I tried to excuse. He even told me to "GO TO HELL". I have never seen anyone who teld the visitor to GO TO HELL every. I was sorry and I had no choice but to leave the hotel earlier because I didn't want to stay there a night. When I was about to leave he also shouted in French and attacked me with his body. I was about to fall down. I repeat. The villa looks great and the equipment is perfect and the staff was kind at first. But if you don't care you may be involved in a very sad experience like me.

Quiet and calm in central St Germain en Laye. Firendly and nice hosts and a perfectly wonderful breakfast. Newly renovated large rooms, clean and fresh. We will gladly return.

Rather charming villa, beautiful decoration despite some mistakes in taste in the "Paris" room Concerning the owner we found him intrusive, too present and coiled! If you are looking for a place where one feels at home, go your way. The owner will not stop reminding you that you are at his place !!!
