Château de Saint-Germain-en-Laye

One of my favorite cities near Paris is Saint Germain en Laye! I love coming here and come here often to visit the castle and grand park. The Castle has a large green space where you can play sports, have a run, or enjoy a nice picnic. There is also a small snack bar where you can buy food and drinks. It’s currently closed due to covid but that doesn’t change anything. The castle is located near a lot of cafes and stores so it’s easy to walk out and get food or do some shopping! This is very kid friendly! Just make sure you wear comfortable shoes because you’ll do a lot of walking and the ground is dirt or grass. The castle is currently closed but when it’s open, it’s so great to do a little tour of the place!

It is a beautiful castle 🏰 in front of Rer A station. There is also a big park next to the castle. The museum and exposition are well arranged and it takes maximum 1h40-2h to see everything! For people under 26, it is free!

It was interesting with alot of historical information but it will help alot if the inscriptions on the items were translated to help those that don't understand fish

Very nice area, the surroundings are perfect for biking and walking around!

Never spent the night, but the restaurant is fantastic. Excellent service. Great views. Stop off for a drink or afternoon tea. There’s even a roaring fireplace.
