I lived in this residence for a year, I paid the AXA insurance (their partners) like almost everyone else, and before leaving, of course they made me pay the entire deposit because, according to them, it there was limestone in the shower and it costs 200 euros to remove it, on top of that they will charge you for the household before leaving since you can clean as much as you want they will find a seed of dust and will make you pay. But the biggest problem is the AXA housing insurance, I paid my 70 euros at the entrance, spent a year in the residence, then finished my M2 and returned to Morocco, and before returning I received a insurance email asking me to renew my contract since it will expire, and if I do not renew it it will be canceled, a few months after my return to Morocco, I receive an email from a collection company asking me to pay 70 euros for the following year since the contract was renewed automatically. My problem with this is that I have no way to terminate it with a letter with acknowledgment of receipt from Morocco, and on top of that studio 501 was rented after September 2018 (the date I left), so apparently I owe them 70 euros to insure a studio in which I no longer live in 2019, but the new tenant has also insured the same studio. Well, I don't care since I'm not in France, but the fact of employing a collection company for housing insurance for a home that is already insured by a new tenant and in which I no longer live ( I left even before my first year - for which I paid - had expired) is in itself a fraud for which I would have sued them if I was in France. Add to all this a residence door that got stuck more than once and left several students stranded inside before the janitor came, hot water that is only hot 50% of the time, an elevator that has stopped working for 2 months, a washing machine and a dryer which stop before the stopwatch goes down to 0 and which are broken most of the time, and the work which was being done next door and which lasted all the year (a noise that is hard to get used to). And the biggest problem is that it's on the other side of the bridge, the night bus that comes back from Paris to Massy stops on the other side, and the bridge is closed after 1 a.m., so if you spend the evening in Paris and take the bus to Massy, you will have to walk to Palaiseau and come back to the other side to wait for the residence (one to two hours on foot, at 3 am, you are a little drunk and tired, you can imagine the rest ...).

To have lived there for 5 years I strongly DISCOUNT this residence. Between the elevator and the washing machine down regularly, the shower so poorly arranged that it is impossible mission to take a shower without flooding his bathroom, the water that goes from icy to extremely hot in 1 second, internet that works when he wants and the guardian wonders what he is serving since he does not solve any problems !!. In short do not rely on the reactivity of FAC HABITAT to solve the problems of the residence!

Despite the proximity to the train station, the residence is not pleasant to live. Elevator down for more than a month, tiny rooms, bathroom so poorly arranged that taking a shower floods the whole room and the kitchens do not even have a single hotplate.

Residence clean, well maintained, close to transport and amenities.
