Dr Lungu Ioana

Dr. Ioana Lungu is an amazing dentist, she is very gentle and her shots are not painful at all (I've had some bad experiences with other dentists).Due to her help I spent a great vacation in France!I highly recommend her!

I had several treatment sessions with Doctor Lungu, she is a very good practitioner. I appreciated all the explanations on the care she was going to provide me. The explanations were clear and the care of quality. In addition, she is very gentle and caring during care. I recommend Doctor Lungu.

Very courteous welcome, but what is behind it? Unfortunately, a lot of incompetence in my humble opinion :-(. Appointment made for 3 members of my family (my wife, my child and myself). On the day of the appointment no treatment was done and this for the 3 people! Dr Lungu was satisfied just to invoice radios with a programming of several appointments very very late in the year as if she just wanted to fill her diary (this is the day where my doubts started ..) .. I found that it is doubtful to make only radios for everyone (all members of my family) and end of the session: no care or explanations .. In my case, a devitalization of my tooth (the most common procedure in dentistry) had to be done by Dr Lungu. My previous dentist (a very competent young emergency doctor) had written him a letter to this effect after the emergency doctor had done the necessary by consolidating my tooth with local anesthesia, the consolidation of the emergency dentist took more than a month ! On the other hand, Dr Lungu, on the day of the appointment, instead of proceeding to the completion of this devitalization (as indicated by my previous dentist), she contented herself with applying a resin to me (in 10 minutes flat), without local anesthesia, and with an old process. I asked Dr Lungu, "Are you sure this will hold up?" "Dr Lungu assured me that it will last a long time and" if there is any problem, I will call her back "(always in total courtesy which reassured me). 15 days later, her consolidation of my tooth broke (we are months away from the next appointment), I call her back as agreed and there, apart from the difficulty of having her office on the phone, I am told that there is no window to repair Dr Lungu's mistake and that I have to take Paracetamol. Dr Lungu's response was more than surprising: “take paracetamol and it's up to you to be careful not to break the bandage ”, the last straw !! The dressing of my usual dentist was well done with care and local anesthesia and lasted a month and a half, that of Dr Lungu made in 10 minutes flat did not even last 2 weeks !! I should have suspected seeing how quickly Dr Lungu applied it to me !! When I called Dr Lungu's office asking me about the negative opinions I heard about Dr. Lungu on the Internet but also from work colleagues, Dr. Lungu's office told me that I should not believe the reviews and I was dissuaded from posting a review on the Internet !! There I understood that this firm is more than doubtful !! and that encouraged me more to write this review !! On the advice of colleagues and other dentists I have had over the phone, I seriously think I will turn against her, because it is outrageous! Dr Lungu may be very nice, but .. The follow-up is poor, the procedures are questionable, the organization is archaic and sincerely I have great doubts about her real skills .. With this opinion, I would like to strongly advise against her even for a common act which is the devitalization of a tooth! I would rather wait months to get a good dentist than rush to dentists like them, because in the end a new dentist will simply try to redo everything to make up for Dr Lungu's mistakes. Indeed by changing dentist by going to Dr. Girard Hervé de Trebeurden, it turned out that one should not put a bandage (as she did Dr. Lungu) because there was an infection which risked causing an abscess that would cause hospitalization! Dr Lungu is dangerous for not having taken this into consideration !!! Lannion is a small town where word of mouth works very well, so don't jump on the first free dentist, find out beforehand!

My 9 year old daughter was looked after by Mrs. Lungu. Installation of rings that were supposed to straighten the teeth and also put his jaw back in place (I don't know the technical terms). Two years later, we are forced to start all over again because the fitting of these rings did not at all correct the dental problem. The rings may have played their role on the teeth, but this protocol is apparently far from sufficient compared to the recoil of the lower part of my daughter's jaw, and this was known and planned by Madame Lungu who let it hang in the time by letting us believe that it was normal. I seriously doubt it. My daughter, now 11 years old, has to start all over with the installation of spacers and a piston system to widen and help the jaw regain its place. This protocol should have been started at the same time as the fitting of the rings. Two years for nothing then, not to mention the costs ... In short, I am quite surprised by the good marks, because despite an always courteous welcome, I wonder if behind this cheeky smile this dentist is really competent and trained in this kind of treatment. Really disappointed and dissatisfied with this poor follow-up. I do not recommend this dentist for fitting a device or rings.

Disaster! A back tooth broke due to a cavity, she tells me that she is going to devitalize, put me on an anesthetic which does not anesthetize anything at all, makes me very bad with a big discharge, tells me that its finished in 5 min! Put on a bandage ... A few days days later a big canker sore came to the people with pu (OMG) I go back and madam lungu tells me it's a mole! 😴🤔 Okey ... Well, I don't feel it anymore and make an appointment with Dr Pierre Simon in Treberdun who is very competent and who gives me a panoramic radio that she had not done for me. In short and makes me a care of an hour to catch up with its damage and properly revitalize the teeth which suddenly weren't. Thank you mr Pierre Simon and goodbye lungu! In view of my experience and my state of pain I strongly recommend it !!
