The kids liked it, but I think it's a little bit pricey for what you get.

Very nice place to experience sound and how sound is created.

This was a great place for all the family and we stayed a lot longer than we had anticipated. Picnicked on the picnic benches in the car park waiting for the place to open at 1pm, then had a great time with our 2 year old who clearly was in her element trying out around 50 different instruments - and we think we may have missed the odd one or two among the trees. As well as being a musical and sound experience, it was also a lovely walk through the woods down to the river and along the trail where the elves are! We banged, scraped, blew and plucked our way through, listening and being fascinated by all that we heard and saw. Imagine trees with metres of tubing hanging within and organ pipes at the end, or recorders and pipes leading to hand pumps, or bell trees made of horseshoes, or glockenspiels made of scrap metal, or the inside of a baby grand piano set into the hillside with corks to throw at it, or balls attached to strings to hit drums on the other side of the river - are you getting the idea now?! Such a simple idea so well executed. And just when you've finished, there's more! A garden walk finishes your trip, with something to give back to the garden - a very clever little surprise that children will love and that I won't spoil! What a shame there isn't a centre like that to go to here as it would be so popular for school visits. Well worth the trip and a great change from the beach! Great value for money.

Amazing place... Our 7 year old and 2 year old were both very engaged in all the instruments and the setting is stunning. We all loved it and planning a second visit!

Brilliant afternoon in the forest exploring sound. It must have taken some effort to put all 50 instruments together, but it was definitely worth it.
