musées de Belfort

Interesting to visit the citadel is impressive how big it is and above all do not forget to visit the museum with the beautiful collection of weapons from the 1870 war and the works of Arts by Bartholdi.

Very nice museum with a magnificent collection of objects ranging from prehistoric times to the First World War. However, I found the atmosphere suffocating with the mask.

I absolutely do not recommend this museum which is only a collection depot. Nothing is put in value, the indications do not correspond to nothing: one takes oneself quickly the head and one learns nothing on the fort. The part at -1 on prehistoric history is a little better. Only comfort, the ticket offers access to other museums and exhibition halls. By cons, I recommend doing the circuit around the fort which is documented with different panels and is completely free

Reality increased disappointing. When I come to visit a historical monument I prefer to have a real guide rather than being the nose in my phone or tablet ... The museum has a very nice room.

An interesting museum but a little small. The ground floor is dedicated to Bartholdi, sculptor of the Lion of Belfort, and the floor is on the history with many uniforms is period arms. The entrance is 7 euros, and it also provides access to the Lion Terrace and other museums.
